Dear Friends,
Christmas greetings from West Chicago. Thanks for taking a quick read of our 2024 highlights.
First and foremost, Tina’s mom passed away in June, just a month shy of her 91st birthday. After a long battle with Alzheimer’s, she’s now at peace with her savior Jesus.
Jadon graduated from Belmont University with a degree in English Literature and Screenwriting. Given that his freshman year was the height of COVID, it’s easy to say that the end was much more fun than the beginning.
In September, Mark started a new job. He joined National Christian Foundation’s Chicago team. He’s helping Christian families level up their generosity and impact investing.
Jonah moved to Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin (aka “The Troll Capital of the World”). His hip downtown apartment is 15 min. west of his former place and only ten minutes from his ranger job at Blue Mound State Park.
Meanwhile, in sunny Waco, Texas (aka the birthplace of Dr. Pepper), Tavis started his senior year at Baylor and is applying to grad schools to pursue higher education and student affairs.
In her “free” time, Tina organized our epic vacation to Olympic and Mt. Rainer National Parks and Seattle (see pics below.) And she continues working at Orange Theory Fitness.
When not frolicking outdoors, Wilson bravely defends the couch in the living room while chewing his new favorite treat, deer antlers.
Our Christmas prayer is that you experience the peace and hope that is Jesus in the coming year.
~The Kings
